Hey, my name is Rustic Bodomov (Rustic B for short). I am a professional stuntman, stunt coordinator, and producer based in Los Angeles. My physical background comes from judo, taekwondo, parkour, and martial arts tricking. I love my job as a Hollywood Stuntman, and I am a huge fan of well-made action films.. Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee, and Jet Li captured my imagination and inspired me as a kid. I also enjoy well-made Comedy films, and mix Action with Comedy in my own projects.
I love filmmaking, photography, and writing. I speak fluent Russian and English. Currently I live and work in Los Angeles, California. I have been working in the Hollywood film industry for 7 years, have produced a feature film, and am working more and more as a Stunt Coordinator.
I also have a YouTube Channel, where I am building an online audience through Stunt Tutorials, Action Comedy shorts, and constant online content creation. My goal with the channel is to become the first large online influencer in the Stunt and Action Filmmaking space… My goal for Rustic B is to make him the “Jackie Chan of YouTube”.
I was born in Russia and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. I’ve always been interested in the martial arts. I started learning Judo at the age of 12, and took up TaeKwonDo at 14. At 16 I started training Parkour, Freerunning and Martial Arts Tricking. In 2008, at the age of 17, I won the Pennsylvania state Judo championships, and moved away to Scotland for college. There, I founded Dundee Parkour (DUPK), and was fortunate enough to help the UK parkour and tricking communities expand.
With a background in filming and editing my own training videos and showreels, I started a small production company called Kouro Media. For the next few years my friends and I had fun exploring film-making by making random videos and short films, with genres ranging from intense action to slapstick comedy. Acting as impromptu producer/director, stunt coordinator, actor, and stuntman, I picked up some valuable lessons that I try and hold close to this day.
I moved to Los Angeles in 2011 to pursue a career in the action film industry. I have been fortunate to work on films both big and small, and I’ve now decided to share some of my stories with you. I do hope you enjoy what you find on my site, and don’t hesitate to get in touch.
MY GOALS: As a filmmaker, my goal is to capture the essence of what lets us become our best version. As a performer, my goal is to entertain. As an athlete and instructor, my goal is to pass on some of my knowledge so the willing can learn. And as a human being, my goal is to try and stay true to myself and my readers, so that we may all grow.
